Cotoneas finishing is performed exclusively in Germany and Switzerland.

Cotonea has its finishing performed exclusively in Germany and Switzerland. In this way adherence to the strict IVN BEST guidelines is guaranteed. In this manufacturing step the textile is washed out and often blanched with oxygen, without the use of artificial brighteners. Next the textile can be dyed or printed. In this step only nontoxic dyes and aids are used. It goes without saying that azodyes, formaldehyde and other dangerous substances are absolutely taboo. Also the known reactions of different dyes with each other and the resulting harmful substances can be excluded. Some textiles – like fleece – are roughened for a warm and absorbent surface. Roughening and preshrinking, which provides form stability, is performed purely mechanically by Cotonea – this also leads to durability.
